Crisp, freshly distorted & pulsating techno trips; Nous'klaer proudly presents Mary Lake's debut EP Askim. The rising dj/producer from Amsterdam steps up with three brilliant uptempo techno rollers and a blissful ambient excursion as epilogue. Four tracks that perfectly reflect her infectious enthusiasm and energy. On top of that, there is much more to come from Mary this year, both on Nous'klaer and elsewhere. After having released an initial set of smoked-out grooves, Agonis shifts focus towards the nerve tingling aspects of his craft. On "Neutropia", Agonis' first full-length effort, the artist devotes his attention to the outer rim, shedding all earthbound notions in the process. Listeners are presented with 50 minutes of lysergic experimentation, effortlessly gliding between cerebral rhythms and more forceful frequencies.

The co-curated Air Texture Compilation series returns with two Brooklyn based selectors.As the cost of living in Manhattan proper moved artist minded migration patterns further afield, places like East Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Ridgewood became post-cultural centers in a way, with producer after producer gaining international recognition in the last 10+ years. New clubs such as Nowadays, Knockdown Center, and Elsewhere furthered the momentum, anchored by first mover Bossa Nova, and important festivals like Mutual Dreaming and Dweller came soon after. Collectively, the stage was set for a beautiful moment in electronic music history, still unfolding, and maybe something that could only happen in the States in a place like Brooklyn.

After a successful first release, we are very pleased to present the next one by an icon & legend of house music. The years go by and Brian Cavender aka Seafoam does not stop impressing us with his music, these 4 tracks are accurately what we seek to capture on each release, music with that style that made us fall in love in the late '90s and early new century. The impressive thing here is that without mentioning which of these 4 tracks were made in the '90s. When we asked Brian for music and told him about our ideology he understood us perfectly and sent us a folder named "Old cuts", music made from roughly around 1995 to 2000. When we listened to the tracks we recognized that this was music created in the past but still sounds super fresh, another timeless gem for the ufo series catalog.
