Bufiman & DALO with a dark remix by Philipp Otterbach on the first Warning 12"!!

Following up our 7“ series, here we go with our first 12“ release with a selection of inner circle artists.

Out of the “Internationale Normalitätszentrale” Bufiman delivers the soundtrack - a looong breakbeat piece loaded with Casio CZ sequences in form of sun beams which are tickling your senses, Wolf Mülleresque kinda adlibs floating around your head and are stimulating your membrana tympanica. Precise snare drum samples from all around the globe transmitted via the MPC minister are throbbing. This is the “Members Of Warning Theme 2020”.

A darker and more disturbing approach comes from our family member Nadia D’Alò under her DALO alias. This track is more like - did you ever went to a dark and sweaty basement Electro party while in the middle of the floor at 04:20 a yellow purple sprinkled zebraseal named “ZAFRAM“ Mc Schnork wants to sell you a liability insurance for a special discount? The 808 is bouncing, accents are placed carefully and harsh but also cute baby demon vocal effects are panning in between all 4 dimensions while the 303 hits you so hard that your legs are shaking? Then it gets really weird when this strange looking Otter from New York in a pink pony costume pops up and takes out the gear of his attache, offering you everything to pass the bat country safely? Well it’s Philipp Otterbach's “Otter Space Mix” which put this special flavour on top. Welcome to Warning 1201 -

Enjoy your trip!

Big Hands marks Blank Mind's twentieth release on ‘A square, a circle’. A product of “the loopy miserable life in the big city which we are forced to live; and the need for metaphysical meaning, deep feelings and the tribalistic aspects of early folk music”.In other words, this EP is a contemporary urban blues that echoes in the austere realism of London. The recursive patterns and melodies haunting the sound groove like a spirit, and twist inside an echo chamber and tape machines. The ‘square’ and ‘circle’ in the title are symbols of simple abstraction that can generate multiple figures in nature and culture, as well as in the gyration of geometric play. As maintained here, his minimal sound palette shapes the elegant freedom of unexpected behaviours of the machinic ensemble. ‘A Square, a circle’ is an invitation to experience the geometrical liberation of sounds.
Following up his recent record on NAFF, Cousin returns to the Moonshoe home front for his latest offering. Introspective and unbound sounds etched into the latest mini disc - delicately staunch cuts that may both pluck at your heart strings and rattle your bones. Recommended connection to the call as it phones home.

Berlin-based French selector Shonky adds a new dimension to his music career with the launch of his brand new label, Stoned Pilot. Inspired by his love of collaboration, the platform will focus exclusively on collaborative projects with each new release. At his studio in Berlin Shonky has assembled a mouthwatering array of equipment; vintage synths, drum machines and sequencers. The set up allows him to cultivate a highly creative atmosphere - a playground for those who visit - and the resulting productions exude the kind of energy that you typically find during liberating jam sessions. Shonky cites the studio, and its many playthings, as a key part of his growth as an artist. While everyone he invites to join for a session leaves feeling invigorated by the experience. On the first release he appears with Otis, an Italian producer who lived in the same building as him. Through lockdown the two men became better acquainted and they decided to hit the studio together. The result is the Humanizer EP, featuring four cuts that encompass the merging of Shonky and Otis’ individual styles into one cohesive body of work. On the EP the duo delve into the deeper side of the dance floor, utilising bass, rhythm and energy to explore varying styles and tempos, tinged with an air of mystery. So the stage is set, Stoned Pilot heralds a new phase in Shonky’s career, from global tours, to his exemplary back catalogue and now label owner with a core ethos centred on creative collaboration.
Classy Detroit leaning four track electro EP by Derek Carr on his own label Trident Recordings.
Utter presents the second full-length album by enigmatic duo Vādin - a collaboration between sound artists and performers Christian Duka and Lucie Štepánková (aka Avsluta). “Black Tortoise” is a voyage accompanied by the uncanny, the shadow-dwelling specters and arcane symbolism derived from ancient Chinese astronomy.“Astrologia” opens the album with an eerie torrent of droning voices and glassy, percussive interventions, leading into the patiently unfolding opening of the “The Presence” with it’s ominous narrative riding the swelling, thunderous rhythms culminating in swarms of hallucinatory chaos. The doom of “Calliope” follows, infused with cavernous, beastly vocalisations which lure the listener into “The Furnace”, a drowsy kaleidoscope of rhythms weaved together with Štepánková’s mother-tongue narration. And further on still, into the make-believe world conjured up by the buzzing and swarming objects overheard on “Plateau”.Available on limited vinyl and digital formats. A special fold-out pamphlet is included with physical copies.Spoken word by Lucie Štepánková. Mixed at SAE Institute by Christian Duka and mastered by Rashad Becker at Clunk. Transferred and cut by Helmut Erler at D&M.Artwork designed by Marco Maldarella.
