iO (Mulen) returns to his home - Mulen Records after a quite long production pause because of the full-scale Russian invasion in Ukraine. Despite all the troubles that are going with the war in your home, half of this release (the B-side) was written after 24.02.2022.Signature minimalistic and euphoric at the same time examples of a modern house with the retro feel - that's what we're having here.Vinyl only.
Hot on the heels of Dawn Razors “Blizzard EP” we are back with an EP from yet another hot new talent making their DEXT Debut “Mani Festo” has been on our radar for some time now releasing imprints such as Shall Not Fade , Sneaker Social Club , WNCL Recordings Lobster Theramin & Club Glow His tough & raw no nonsense sound which encompasses Techno , Electro , Breakbeat whilst paying tribute to UK underground sound system & Rave culture is exactly sort of heavy weight tackle that you would expect to see released on DEXT and this EP certainly doesn’t disappoint, expect speaker rattling subs , chest piercing distorted kick drums , mutated flanged breakbeats , dark and immersive textures and soundscapes not to mention a rerub of eyes open from fellow Club Glow comrade Denham Audio .
E2-E8 continues to put new local talent under the spotlight. This time it's the Orphic duo, made up of Kieran Jandu and Babak Faraji.Shelter EP is perhaps the release with the clearest, most identifiable sound that we've put out so far. ACSXD and Macoubea are firmly rooted in deep techno that wouldn't sound out of place on labels such as Delsin, Hypnus, or Semantica. Ména is geared for peak-time with its relentless beat and vocal snippets. Half Ten is angular, articulate and colourful. If all this wasn't enough, Marco Shuttle steps in with an atmospheric, almost beatless remix of ACSXD which reminds us of some glorious Aphex Twin moments. We can't thank him enough for contributing with such a delightful piece.Early support comes from Sunju Hargun, Sybil, Pyramid Of Knowledge, Marco Shuttle.
On his fourth EP, Tim Crombie aka A Psychic Yes invites us to follow him off the beaten track – or dancefloor. With their mix of leftfield grooves, intuitive instrumentation and dreamlike field recordings, these cuts apply club principles to the soundscape of a distant yet familiar world. A bus radio clamours in a terminus in South India. Industrious algorithms go about their daily routines. The sun breaks through a dense canopy, illuminating the damp undergrowth and the psychedelic critters that call it home. Close your eyes and let your mind and feet lead you.
A multi-system conglomerate servicing planets within the Orion Arm of the Milky Way, TerraFirm provides the desiccated, toxified, irradiated or otherwise uninhabitable planets of this sector with a suite of services to rectify any environmental challenge. From geoformation to carbon extraction, desalination to biome rehabilitation, TerraFirm has a full range of services to return your planet to its naturally thriving, pre-apocalypse state. Few moons harbor life and fewer birth it. However, lunar cycles and gravity exert immense influence on biology. Moonlight allows for the existence of nocturnal life. Lunar gravity creates tides that oxygenate oceans, creating conditions for aquatic life. The same force also reduces the planet’s axial tilt, stabilizing climate across seasons. Lunar cycles divide the solar cycle into discrete and perceptible increments. Evolving with lunar cycles, life becomes acutely aware of and synchronizes itself to the passage of time. The abstract concept of Time, as understood by sentient beings, originates in the lunar cycle. Knowledge of Time takes a species out of subjection to nature and provides the first means for impactful action. In the event of prior lunar destruction, TerraFirm will install a precisely calibrated moon, facilitating the rapid complexification of life and intelligence on your planet.
Aiden Francis issues the next hot ticket to ride the Magic Carpet! A year in the making, this record is an intoxicating synthesis of raw creative flair and an obsessive attention to detail – as much science as art.Three unadulterated club weapons tested on some of Europe’s finest soundsystems, topped off with an acid-flavoured expedition into the furthest reaches of the liminal. Enjoy the ride!
Firing up the next heat on the prolific Partisan imprint is rising Outcast Torino affiliate, Emanuele Montalto. The “Soundboy” EP sees the innovative Italian showcase a series of animated and spaced out productions containing a certain direct energy the label associates itself with. This club room approved outing from Montalto sits comfortably on the staple outfit that Partisan has become in recent years, with Anthea continuing to build her go to label for stellar underground sounds.

OPIA sister label Euphoric State steps up this autumn with more unearthed gems from the 90s, this time at the controls is Skat aka Andy Panayi & Alec Stone, Skat being their name before they took on what became their acclaimed A2 moniker in 94. The “Skatmode” EP spans across innovative strains of house and electro, packed with energy and charming emotions. On the A side you can find two slabs of reissued heat from the versatile duo, packing more of a punch than ever. Cruising on an irresistible house groove is “Is Dis Love”, tight drum work and elastic bass lines teased by the nostalgic vocal. “Dinowarp” is a pure example of a hazy deep house chugger for the early hours of the morning, taking you on a trip of blissful synths and melt in your mind textures.Taking up the B side are two unreleased diamonds from the vast archives of the UK duo, “Jamaica” and “Jump Around”. The first being a playful and animated outing, classy house dynamics driving the dance floor up a notch. “Jump Around” maintains the depth and emotion but at the heart lays a pulsating sub heavy bass to keep you on the move, conversing with the pacey and crisp drum patterns within.Euphoric State continues to propel dusted off beats for the dance floors of modern day!
After a long period of significant changes, comes a release that will set a mark on the label, in this pack the tempo has risen up, the usual chords, delays & reverbs this time evoke (till a certain point) an almost extinct sound where techno and trance manage to go hand in hand in a stylized and subtle way that in today´s field is hard to find. This release, aside from being the artist's first solo reference, also marks an evolution of the label's sound towards new horizons without losing the essence that has characterized the brand from the beginning.Long live the 10th.
The fifth release of the CiM re-issues is his debut EP for the deFocus-label dating back from 2000. With 'Service Pack' Simon Walley subtly moved away from the dancefloor, creating a pack full with ear tickling and mind twisting electronica. Pure bliss. Now re-mastered and re-cut on Delsin Records.
Lisbon's purveyor of dance incantations Paraiso are back with an EP that packs a meeting of 3 legends of the local and global underground - a trio of fearless pioneers and cultural agitators from different eras. Yen Sung and Photonz have partnered up in 2020 to collaborate on new music and start a record label. Fast forward to today and this Paraiso EP is their third release, further exploring their mutual penchant for ethereal house music drenched in subtle but fiery grooves and acid basslines. Opener 'A Temperanca' taps into moody yet bouncy motifs, punctuated by crisp claps and an infectious 303 line in the vein of DJ Pierre's record 'What is House Music', their confessed influence for this track. Things get slower on the A2 where the title track gets reworked with alternative elements - aptly named Gravity Mix. The B side continues the metallic acid exploration via 'Akasha', twisting and turning like only expertly crafted basslines do before things blossom into a sunny house groover with enticing percussion and variegated hats. Legendary Angolan-Portuguese producer DJ Satelite steps in for remix duties, adding his iconic deep afro house edge to a wonderful effect, all blissful motifs and broken percussive sonics.
Hame's music is all about shared feelings without the barrier of words. In this three tracker debut EP on the new label of Lola Haro called 'Small Steps', he found the sweet spot between housy energy combined with emotion. His patiently evolving backgrounds combined with subtle energy buildups through themusic keep you in an hypnotic lock on the dance floor. Hushed has a straight forward and groovy low end with energy right from the start, while slowly evolving in a viby detailed trip. Relieve has a more subtle bassline combined with lush percussion elements and a melancholic, yet hopeful human touch - creating a feeling of acquiescence. Moments Like Now is a groovy, deep, club night bomb. Its ever changing yet repetitive lead is carried by a deep sub bassline and a punchy kick that keeps you moving while textures pads and vocals guide you through the track.
Errortica, Viikatory, Varum, URTE for WAR1205!
Picking up on the launch of Marie Montexier’s Paryìa label with a trippy EP by a.b.u.3.0.3., the second release comes from the Dublin based shooting star Small Crab. The Skin & Blister founding member delivers three percussive breaky tracks that highlight a wide range of her musical influences. Combining smooth textures with tribal rhythms the ’Flowing with Honey’ EP perfectly rounds off with a bass heavy remix by London based producer Talik, who recently gained attention through highly acclaimed releases on 3024 and Intercept.
Sparsely condensed.
Intrinsically detailed.Moody, yet goofy.Nordic Noir.DJ Lifegoals is a Helsinki-based beat-maker and mood-shaper.
Orthogonal Eigenstates is the title of the new full-length album by Quantum Collapse aka Eduardo de La Calle where the author definitively moves away from dance music and starts a new period of exploration strongly influenced by the English Glicht IDM trends from early 90's and styles that goes from Soundtrack to Experimental Jazz ,Cinematic Electronica or Abstract Hiphop
Empathy is the codeword when it comes to The AM's second solo EP: The 'Sexworker' EP. A short story through music and art, allowing you a moment to walk a mile in another seasoned professional's shoes... Imagine life through her eyes, her thoughts, her feelings, her actions and motivations as her work takes her from flirty fun to a much more severe and fierce role as a vigilante, fighting for justice and retribution for women who've been abused and wronged. As the EP progresses, the further we're plunged into this dark nocturnal world of carnal chaos, deceit and danger. Sat in a not-so distant neon tomorrow, downtown Detroit, this is the vivid concept and narrative conjured by Detroit native, violinist-turned-techno artist The AM (Ann-Marie Teasley) Sliding into our collections since her debut tracks last year as one half of HLX-1, 2022 has been all about The AM solo releases; in March we had 'Black Majik' on Tresor. Now on Deeptrax 'Sexworker' is another revelation from the agenda-setting artist who's crafted a completely immersive narrative that ranges from the playful electro beats of 'Intercosmic Lap Dance' to the runaway juggernaut 'Black Galaxy' (a collaboration with Scan 7's Track Masta Lou). Each track adding layers of tension and intrigue, cutting through the late night sleaze and exploitation with raw machine soul, 'Sexworker' is steeped in detail... But loaded with enough space for your imagination. Fronted by a stark futuristic city artwork, 'Sexworker' takes place in The AM's stomping ground but could just as easily happen anywhere in the world... Amsterdam, London and right now, our speakers. This bumps in an exciting yet timeless way. It's AM 24/7 right now.
Rare bonus disc from seminal UK Rave group Drum Club. Originally released as part of a limited edition pressing of their 1994 album “Drums Are Dangerous”. Both sides feature an alternative dance floor remix of the track "Illuminated" where ethereal vocals of “It’s A Fine Day” singer Kirsty Hawkshaw are layered over dreamy percussive workouts.
Wax Your Cracks presents its first release featuring the legendary Mystic Bill who transcends genres blending a mix of Italo disco, house, techno and acid into two mind-bending tracks that are as up-lifting as psychedelic. Limited to 400 copies. Vinyl only.
The 7th EP from Uruguayan Phonotheque Recordings by Z@P.
The 2nd installment by Bricks & Synths “The Way Out”EP on Binh’s Time Passages!
All Killer no Filler Vol. 1 is the first release of the Köln based label Mephis. On this first delivery we are handed a 4 piece compilation from young uruguayan producers, all with their particular sort of spiciness and playful mischief. Alfalfa’s Vectorial Dings opens the EP with rusty acidic tones, eerie pads, warped drum samples and an overall restlessness that creeps through your spine inviting you into the dancefloor. Techno met Acid, flirted with Breaks and slapped Electro’s butt. An acidic variety of spiciness. Techno Trax follows, where diCarlo manages to create a playful atmosphere, with creative ever changing drum patterns, filter sweeping goodness, arpeggiated synth lines and deep hypnotic vocal samples. A sexy kind of spiciness. Elias Sternin’s track is a real banger, taking allthe classic ingredients for a steaming hot dancefloor stew. A cup of techno, a teaspoon of trance reminiscence, a pinch of progressive condiment, all served on a bed of arpeggiated goodness and rolling bass. A familiar yet refreshing take on spicy sauce. Closing the EP comes Lo-Lo with Brittany Stryker. Cold cutting synths, saturated and juicy bass, chonky percussions and a restraint propper of a spice connoisseur. Every element compliments the other, creating an odylic and tightly packed electro gem. A spicy; gazpacho looking, cold and sharp soup.
Bolam is back on Space Dust with the 'Lost In Time' EP, a continuation of the journey started with the widely acclaimed 'Suspended Animation'. Another well-rounded and diverse record dives into the wormhole with ’Moving Lights’, a high-energy affair propelled by filtering resonators and a haunting vocal. ’Ozone’ breaks through the stratosphere of a new world, a huge track with electro-inspired groove, booming kicks and a razor-sharp lead melody, creating a feeling of uncertainty and delirium with swelling pads and arpeggiators. The B-side begins with the mysterious and epic, genre-defying anthem ’Air Tension’, enticing the listener into the strange new world with a chugging rhythm, tantalising textures and an indescribable melody that keeps you on the line between paranoia and euphoria. ’Bioluminescence’ descends into an alien jungle, with a hypnotic, dreamy, downtempo beat and iridescent synths and chords. Finally, as you lay down in the otherworldly glade, the record wraps up with the ethereal, ambient finisher, ‘2 Parsecs From Home’.
The Business is a brand-new subsidiary of Tech Startup LLC.
For installment #6 of their series, BinarySound returns to the wax game with a Various featuring newcomers, old friends, close friends and old timers. Dance music with a psychedelic edge... or we can just call it trance I guess?
This autumn Ludwig A.F. aveils his first full-length album project. It is a very personal collection of ten pieces inspired by a special location near his home in the Taunus region of Germany. He recorded the songs as soon as he returned to his studio, inspired by the atmosphere of the place. He has been collating the pieces over the course of almost a decade. “Air“ is an atmospheric and ambiguous collection of music that at times is rhythm and sound design driven but mainly focuses on the home listener with its picturesque melodies and ambiances. “Air” will be in stores digitally and physically on October 7th 2022.
Gem packed 12" by Eversines on his second EP for Nous'klaer Audio. Three rolling house groovers introduced by the blissful tune New Place.
For the 7th installment we welcome Ukrainian producer Lenzyak, with an EP full of dreamy and progressive digressions, that drives us from the deepest atmospheres to the brightest vibe supported by a blend of breaky, trancey and techno grooves.

Dear listener,On behalf of re:discovery records, it is with great excitement that we announce the release of 'Ambient7 - Excepts from 1995-2000' compilation. Ambient7 was a threesome out of Japan that included Chica Asamoto, Masayuki Momo and Shuichi Ikebuchi. Chica Asamoto, an accomplished saxophone player while Masayuki Momo and Shuichi Ikebuchi both talented synthesizer players and producers in their own right. Together, they released 3 full albums during a 6 year span from 1995-2000. Ambient7's sound was a blend of chill out styles including ambient, techno, balearic house and everything inbetween. A unique and heartfelt far east version of chill out music going on at the time like what you would have heard on Waveform Records, Silent, Quango and many beloved other labels. While it was hard to pick out just one EP's worth of tracks from 3 full length cd's, we felt these that were chosen is a great collection and examples to fit the vinylmedium. Also, that this record could be equally appreciated in the hands of chill out aficionado's, music collectors or brave and ecclectic DJ's. Those 3 customer bases are always on our minds to make happy here at re:discovery records. The track 'Escape' covers most of the A-side. A soft ambient techno track with a touch of dub that is sure to sit along the greats of genre and the time. Surrounding 'Escape', are two short but worthy examples of the Ambient7 sound. First, is the unique tribal attention getter that is 'Prologue' then ending with the beautiful balearic saxophone serenade that is 'Epilogue'. The b-side might throw you for a loop after hearing the first side. 'Deep Sea' comes in just under 11 minutes that has to be heard to understand what is harder to explain. The balancing of mood is particularly interesting. How something can be so hauntingly relaxing yet can evolve into something so ominous and mysterious had to make this EP collection. We wont say much more. Check it out and make up your own mind. Turn up the volume, close your eyes and enjoy the trip! Lastly, is the balaeric ambient house lullaby that is 'Orange Sunshine'. Some who have heard this track call it a reason to buy the record alone for not even hearing the other tracks on this EP. A standout and a perfect set opener or closer, this is sure to be the re:discovery track for the summer for 2022.re:discovery records wants to thank the Ambient7 members: Chica Asamoto, Masayuki Momo & Shuichi Ikebuchi for being great to work with and allowing us to highlight some of their amazing music. It is our hope that these will influence them to make future music together after a 20 year absence and that others will seek out the rest of their works from this period. It is also our hope that these bring you as much happiness as they have brought us and that this release gives them new life to a new audience and a special fond memory to those that knew them.
