25 years after its official release, Deeper Audio Cuts “DAC002” gets a very much demanded re-issue: two split EPs that contain remastered originals from the 1997 release together with fresh, unreleased tracks dug out from Scott’s DAT archives. This part 1, contains “My Jupiter Rox’s (Re-Wurk)” and “End” from the original DAC002 plus the previously unreleased “Exstatic”.

For installment #6 of their series, BinarySound returns to the wax game with a Various featuring newcomers, old friends, close friends and old timers. The Deadline EP invites you to an energy infused night lost somewhere between an 80’s disco roller rink, oldschool Prog’ House and a sunrise over the Adriatic sea.

Founded by Blue Hour and Philippa Pacho, ‘positivesource’ is a new record label conceived during the pandemic and absence of nightlife. The series will bring together various artists with a focus on progressive attitudes in dance music while paying homage to our roots in early club culture.

Rave specialists OPIA Records mark release number 12 with “Trance & Dance” by Sentaku’s, Man/ipulate. A dusty nod of respect to the timeless sounds of the 90s with the five tracks sounding like unearthed gems rather than modern day productions.The opening track “Flight” gives you an instant taste of what’s to come, driven by trance energy with a pure sense of euphoria, taking the dance floor into an otherworldly state. Cruise control is initiated with “It’s Not A Mindtrip”; the upwards journey continues within this hypnotic soundscape.On the B side “WWA” is constructed upon clean broken drums, simmering throughout, never becoming carried away. “The Beat Club” is a raw and punchy encounter providing only feel-good energy from start to finish, pushing for the peak time moments. “Primary” rounds off this cohesive body of work with further innovative arrangements.Man/ipulate has managed to capture the essence of the Trance era, drawing elements from the past and giving them a new lease of life via his sound. The OPIA camp is firing on all cylinders in 2022, with fresh new branding, a slew of releases ready to roll out, and a European tour firmly pencilled in their calendar.

What’s the material on this 10” let’s unravel together: On the A side we have an original production by Dan who goes by the moniker The Jaffa Kid. This hard-working producer has released and self-released an incredible body of work, which is for you to find out, so rather than reading this, go and check it out yourself, surely you will be impressed. We are very happy to welcome him to the label family with this dark acid tool sprinkled with doves chirping straight from the good old 90’s.The B side is taken for a spin by none other than UK’s holy grail Scott Featherstone who actively tours with his live set under Triform alias and has produced records under his other projects such as “Beyond A Void”, “Glorious Springtime” and “Lemmon Grass”. Strong recommendation to check it all out of course as its swarming with total & true heavy hitters. Here Scott has taken the original track to the different way and turned it into the freaky house number that bubbles the brains in the sweet manner that it does. To conclude the rambling, these handsome artists have brought the “Tacked on Acid” EP to life for all of us to Tack.
