The musical forest of our sub-label continues to flow. We return with another very dynamic compilation that contains emotional patterns, fast percussions, and a lot of effusiveness to pass them on to the listeners. From Italy Paolo Mosca & Patrizio Gabrielli are recognized for their fresh melodies that introduce us to unique techno scenes. The Greek Liou dominates with a very attractive bass line that drives the vibe from start to finish, and to close our new menu of South American music, Argentina Delphie composes an endless number of melodic patterns that brilliantly combine break and electro.

These Tasty Records warmly welcome an exciting group of producers for their third eclectic piece of wax!Kicking off are Uruguayans Nacho CL & Muten strongly representing the underground Montevideo sound with 'Self Guarda', a pure stompy groover to satisfy your dancefloor needs. Then comes Nacho's 'Cuando Llega El Final', a real melodic breakbeat journey.Barcelona's SINM debuts the B-side with an alien-like and twisted 'Reach 4 The Lasers' and a very unexpected turn. Closing the EP, they bring the old school rave back to life with 'Bass Patrol', which speaks for itself.

On behalf of re:discovery records, it is with great excitement that we announce the Adham Shaikh compilation titled 'Early Works 92-94'.Adham Shaikh is a treasured ambient, dub and keyboardist artist out of Vancouver Canada who's early to mid-90's tracks found their way to seminal labels like Instinct, Dossier, Interchill and his own label Modulation Elektronik. This collection represents a choice selection of key early works that begins with 'Ascend', whose spacey dub atmosphere is one of the 1990's hidden ambient dub gems. 'Vapor' complete's the a-side with its other-wordly trip into organic and spatial dub ambience. The b-side features the 16+ minute magnificent ethereal odyssey 'Windgate 11:11', that has been a fan favourite for over 25 years now. The 22-minute peak track named 'Oberon (Greymatter) that spreads across the C side was taken from his debut EP 'Realignment' of his Modulation Elektronik label in 1993. Perhaps the most proto-techno track on here, it is prime example of the freeform expression of the time in ambient dub. The last track featured here is one that shares the same title; Adham Shaikh's most revered and most beloved album 'Journey to the Sun'.

This year marks 3 years of Needs.From humble beginnings in 2017, the label has since gone on to release tracks from some of our favourite artists in the scene, curated events with essential charities and initiatives, and in the process raised over L10,000.To mark this special occasion we're back where it all started, raising money and awareness for mental health. October 10th marks World Mental Health Day and this year's theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is 'mental health for all'. To recognise and promote this occasion we've brought along another all-star cast to help us spread the message far and wide.

Recorded in 1997 in Vienna as part of a workshop named "Greguar" which took place at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and was produced by the Institute of Contemporary Art Vienna. Official re-release!
