Liege-based Gravitational Effect heralds in Reposition's 3rd release with a dazzling electro EP.

Liege-based Gravitational Effect heralds in Reposition's 3rd release with a dazzling electro EP.

The 4-tracker pays tribute to electro's intergalactic appeal, whilst simultaneously espousing a fresh take on euphoric and mind-bending dancefloor music.

Across the 3 original tracks, ever-evolving synth patterns and playful melodies meet cosmic tones and finely-programmed drum patterns.

For such a release, Radioactive Man fit the bill perfectly to jump on remix duties, especially considering how much the legendary producer has inspired GE's musical outlook. His take on Base Control (the most hard-hitting original on the EP) experiments cleverly with the central synth pattern, pitching this down alongside more spaced-out production throughout, to create a 7-min masterpiece of psychedelic and engaging electro.

Social rules and understandings shape what people feel and how they do or don't express their feelings... and this is the Interactive View of Emotions. Berlin based, Iranian Kamyar Keramati inaugurates his own label, taking you on a Voyage through low-end leaned Techno, Trance, New-beat and Break-beat with sharp and punchy beats that were caught in the air, and expressed amongst the midst of the winter pandemic.
Sweden's Kvalia Records, an all-vinyl affair, continues on its path towards becoming a key player in delivering deep, psychedelic techno. For its 5th edition the label invites Psyk and Anthony Linell to join forces. "About Time" consists of two smooth, melancholic originals by Psyk and one pumping, icy remix signed Anthony Linell.
This record is a momentous occasion for me as it is the first release that I have signed from a member of my production tutorial website. This is something I was quietly hoping would come to pass when I started the project but I never knew if it would actually happen. Liebus was sending me tracks to critique as part of a feature on the site and after a batch of them came in that I not only didn’t have any critique for but actually I wanted to ask him how he made them instead, I knew I was onto a winner.I can’t quite believe this is his first release as the tracks sound so mature and incredibly produced but I was never going to think twice about putting them out.All five tracks are subby, drummy, mind bending workouts from start to finish. Proper cavernous vibes with a dose of potentially too strong an LSD trip mixed in for good measure. Not for the faint hearted...OK enough of my blather. Go and listen to the damn things yourself and decide if you like them, rather than trying to work it out from reading a bloody press release you weirdos. All four tracks are produced and sculpted for the club. They want big sound systems and dark rooms.Close your eyes, hold hands and experience transcendental space flight...
The first Huerco S. album in 6 years, Plonk’s world does not wholly resemble anything Brian Leeds has made under any alias. His sound palette has broadened to absorb and refine trap’s un-smeared geometrics and drill’s taught rhythms amongst the gaseous bodies and soul-piercing ambience that has garnered such acclaim; Where those previous veins were rooted in the pre-Columbian civilizations of his native Kansas, Plonk reflects the mournful sodium glow of cities at night, street corners that light up with painful moments of clarity you wish would disappear.
Timekeeper is a collection of temporal impressions. Each track is entitled with a time of day, mapping the ways that changes in energy and emotion form a continuously shifting sense of time. Using a palette of acoustic recordings and digital synthesis, each piece depicts either a temporal field (expansive, unpredictable), wave (swelling momentums) or rope (singular linearity).Celia Hollander is an LA based composer and artist working with audio, scores, performance, installation and text. Her work critically engages ways that audio and the act of listening can shape temporal perception, generate narratives, question cultural infrastructures and cultivate social connection. Her work has been performed or installed in venues and institutions including MOCA, The Getty, Kunsthalle Basel, Cirrus Gallery LA, Human Resources LA and Zebulon, LA and she is a resident dj on Dublab Radio.*Black 12" vinyl limited pressing of 400 units,*Black poly-lined inner-sleeves*Artwork by Celia Hollander
