We have rolled around to one of my favourite forms of Holding Hands releases. The various artists goodness that is Slam Jams, this being number 3.I have drafted in bangers of the highest calibre from the likes of Ste Roberts, Bolam, Inner Zone and Yosh. They go high, they go low, they go fast and they go...slightly less fast. If you like slammers, and I’m guessing that you do, then this will be a veritable day out at the fair for your ears.OK enough of my blather. Go and listen to the damn things yourself and decide if you like them, rather than trying to work it out from reading a bloody press release you weirdos.All four tracks are produced and sculpted for the club. They want big sound systems and dark rooms. Close your eyes, hold hands and experience transcendental space flight...

Finally Vol 10 , is here !!!Along with the Usuals Dawl and The He-Men, we bring you two new artists plus a new collaboration of previous artists.First Track comes from the one and only Dawl, The TDO co head honcho comes at cha with a techy, bleepy, detroity atmospheric stomper, This man is unstoppable with releases all the over place on so many labels, showing another side to his many musical talents, no breaks or electro but good solid techno bleeps , cracking first track.Next we have Escape Earth, this is the collaboration of bufo bufo and corporeal face. A duo to look out for. This is a real breakbeat stomper with great little samples and a killer bass line. taking it real dark and strong, get any floor moving, lovely melodic strings and pads really move this track, Love the pads in the breakdown of this really kicks.Track 3 welcomes new edition to the TDO family Kiddmisha, all the way from Kiev in the Ukraine. He has had many releases on latels such as Batti Batti , Fox Trax , Noneside and houseonwax. He also DJ’s all over the Ukraine. He brings us a quality little groove of a track, a great tool, that will keep any floor moving, kicks off with a lovely little break beat , then boom, in comes the bass, a real booty shaker, that will appeal to many different genres.We now have the B side , First track is from the Other head honcho of TDO Sween in his guise as The He-Men alongside good friend Danny Beck.This is a great dance floor workout track, kicking off with an electro break , with the usual stabs of FX that the He-Men love so much, them comes the big bass hook, a real electro feel, accompanied with the bleeps and explosions and vocal, this is a great atmospheric, floorfiller .Finally we a very exciting new edition to the TDO family . 22 year old Marino from Nantes in France. He is the co founder of Hyperfrequence records and party collective and also linked wit the 44tours record shop,label and parties. this man is a real talent for the future.His track is full on high energy Rave, starting with a killer break and time stretched vocal, he’s a real record digger and this shows in his track, As it kicks in massively with a real driving bass line and alarm bleep going throughout the track and that great familiar time stretched vocal, Breaks into some lovely deep strings before kicking back in with that driving pulsating bass line, a real great edition to TDO and Vol 10

Versatility does not even come close to describing how the humble Japanese  ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U is considered to be one of the best DJs in the world by many of his peers. From his debut at DJ Nobu’s FUTURE TERROR event to performing 3 years consecutively at Berlin Atonal Festival, Yukimatsu’s sets have to be heard for you to understand. In this special mix album, Yukimatsu gathers round his producer friends to build vessels of the story structure. Threading the pages together, interweaved by friendship and sine waves, he has crafted a masterful presentation from their individual messages. Pulling and stretching all sonic shapes and shades while exploring the farthest reaches of sound, the result is a frequency soup of twelve outstanding tracks that when sequenced together, become part of a greater, grander story: Midnight is Comin’. From the sound art experimentations of orhythmo – Nagel and wide yawning strings in Ryo Murakami – Reminiscence to the rhythmic slo-mo haze of Sapphire Slows – Hinotori and the exponentially pulsing colours from DJ Nobu - Yakou Gai. The DMT-like spacious virtual meditation hall of KEIHIN – Exhale follows the uneasy footsteps of YPY – MS  to the intermissioning chapter of City – 9K. Fall into the wormhole of COMPUMA –Flowmotion (IN DUB) and be transported to the reverb-drenched, intimate experience of Coni – Ängelsbäcksstrand, the primal invocations of Gabber Modus Operandi – Kisah (which also means story in Bahasa Indonesian) to the transcendent notes of SPINNUTS - Zweimal schlafen atmosphäre. The soaring universe of Albino Sound – Celestial Sphere wraps up the album with crystalline notes. “Versatile is not even close to describing his music selection and mixing skills as he plays anything without prejudice and is purely music loving. I feel honoured to finally present my first EP on de Lichting. All tracks except A1 were made during my COVID-19 quarantine between 8th-19th July 2021 on an EMU E64 and KORG MS2000. With the EP, I tried to cover most of the sounds that I regularly play during my DJ sets. Side A starts with two house cuts, ‘CAL01’ and ‘Emspacer’ inspired by some of my favourite house records, and ends with the electro title track ‘RDS THEME’. Side B, starts with the minimal-ish ‘Substance’, followed by two Ambient Techno/IDM cuts ‘Trapswet’ and ‘Cwejfx’. Personally, I feel that the tracklist reflects the process of being isolated, which on the one hand, enabled me to (finally) work on music without being distracted, and on the other hand, got me into a melancholic mood over time’.

Late last year, Canadian producer Priori returned with his second album ‘Your Own Power’ to great acclaim. Released via his NAFF imprint, the album showcased a more contemplative style to his productions and featured one collaborative track with label partner Ex-Terrestrial. The story continues as Priori enlists a heavyweight line-up of artists to rework some of the album’s standout tracks. Slated to drop on the 18th March, ‘Your Own Power Remixes’ features new editions from Donato Dozzy, Aurora Halal, DJ Python, and Bambounou alongside a Priori VIP - each bringing their own flair and style to the record. Priori is an alias of Francis Latreille who first put out solo releases on Greek label Echovolt and Canadian imprint ASL Singles Club. Known to be an avid collaborator, Latreille is involved in a number of projects including Jump Source, M.S.L., Housemates, New World Science, ANF and more. He has also worked on mixing projects by fellow artists including Roza Terenzi, Ex-Terrestrial, RAMZi, Bambii, and Ouri.
