The Humanoids are back in action with more music from the vibrant Liverpool scene, in the shape of a tasty EP from the in-demand Aerofunk.On the A-side, “Call Me” sets the vibe in style, weaving a big bass with hypnotic synths and an irresistible vocal sample that does the business on the dancefloor. “F.O.U.” follows up with a punch, its bassline bobbing and weaving around a crunchy beat with power.Over on the B-side, “Bumpin” keeps up the energy in naughty fashion, whilst “Hugh Mungus” gives a nod towards a more electro sound with relentless drum and synth work to round off a high energy EP full of bombs.

Konduku returns to the Delsin Mantis series with an exciting double pack (Mantis 09 + 10) which dives deeper into his remarkable fractured rhythms and light-touch synthesis. Over the course of nine tracks Ruben Uvez straddles the space between introspective headphone trips and hypnotising dancefloor elegance, operating in a liminal zone of fluid tempos, submerged atmospheres and pointillist beats. It's an open-ended but clear-sighted approach that aligns perfectly with the direction of the Mantis series. On Mantis 09 Uvez follows a progressive, patient arc of energy from the glassy chimes and pin-prick percussion of 'Ozlem' via 'Scale's reduced, atonal echo chamber and the half-time prowl of 'Derinkuyu' to the dense, humid pressure of 'Swerve'. Restraint maintains throughout, even as we take in a broad spectrum of the Konduku sound.

Suzi is excited to announce its first EP “Too” from NYC based artist Downstairs J who recently released his debut record on Incienso. Downstairs J has a unique way of using detailed minimalistic sounds that feel organic and sharp at the same time. His trademark “friendly chilled-out vibe” can be found in the opening and closing tracks of the record; “Soothsayer”’s slight digital-romance vibe gently starts the record ; “Mana4000” and “Orion” tracks reveal a newer straight forward club side of the producer; the A2 track is a tasty tech-house groover with an incredible amount of sharp bleepy details and B1 “Orion” is a playful crossover between house tech and trance elements. While “Symbiosis” ends the record with a warm and constantly growing flame that feels like an everlasting floating momentum.
