DAWL is a champion in the studio with releases on many top tier labels including Tone Dropout, Further Electronix and Klasse Wrecks. His EP on the Acid Boom’s sister label Amen brother was our biggest seller of 2022 on the label.Acid Boom is about capturing that early 90’s acid sound before it transitioned to rave. Raw warehouse vibes using many Roland machines during the production process (and plug ins!) This is authentic acid music that was made by kids in their bedrooms, pushing their equipment to extremes it was never originally intended for. That is why we made contact with DAWL as he grew up from that era and could emerge himself completely into the writing process to make it fully retro.This release is following on from Tone Def and X—Plode … and its HEAVY!Limited to 300 copies that comes in a hand stamped sleeve.

When the hunchback pours the lead of three decades of rave culture onto your lost souls, it’s too late for shelter.Fantastic Twins evaporates not just the bell but the whole bell tower into particles of peak time madness for the mental cases.On the flip Bodyzeit heats up on an even more old schoolish tip with breaks that definitely win the bumper car dancefloor. Very sorry for the spilt drinks, thrown fags, popped pills, ripped shirts and funny faces trying to sing along these german vocoder phrases. Borusiade doing some serious bodywork, shifting gears down in her lowrider manner, modding this burner into a dreamish but deep wee-hour masterride.

Starting on a high, the impulses ep explores deep shades of electro and rushes of techno throughout, a familiar sound from the flourishing producer in years gone by.Acid tinged melodies, and punchy broken drums are a consistent theme throughout the first high from x2see, ripe and ready straight from the realms of the underground. Transcending and spaced out sounds tease in and out throughout the ep in the likes of catching up and thats not the moon, with hints of trance and progressive energy in let it go.A: g striking whilst it's hot with further dynamic output!

The second in a series of self-released Liquid Earth Physical Records, “The Breakdown” is a front flip into curbside clubbing.The Aside offers two impeccably tight mixes of the 12” title tune, both providing different licks of pleasure for the casual clubber. “Charms Of Gaia” is forward leaning, equipped with big room, big energy type vocal breaks. “Trips & Skips” is an ode to the stripped down wigglyness of one of UK Tech House’s greatest, Nathan Coles - a clear influence of Mr. Earths.From here, we are sat next to the two black sheep of the 12” on what seems like the most pleasurable road trip of a record. B1 being the beefed-out break tune titled “The Closer” and B2 the straight and narrow slammings of “Cobblestone Stomper,” a track surely given its holy legs by the OG Jerusalem Cruiser.What you won’t find on this record is senseless filler, instead, you’ll surely be pumping your face with the permanent botox that is Liquid Earth.
