Following a four-year hiatus, our main imprint is back with a new outing by our long-time friend, Laslo. His previous works found home on quality record labels like Greta Cottage Workshop, Greta Cottage Woodpile and Soundscape Versions. Now he is delivering three originals, all shaped and arranged along his dub-infused, peculiar sound. As label heads, we rarely focus on remixes, but in the case of this EP we could not resist the chance to get one by the Hungarian drum & bass veteran Ghost Warrior (31 Records, re:st, Well Street Records), who did his first ever remix for Tape Hiss, this time exploring the mid-tempo territory.

Timekeeper is a collection of temporal impressions. Each track is entitled with a time of day, mapping the ways that changes in energy and emotion form a continuously shifting sense of time. Using a palette of acoustic recordings and digital synthesis, each piece depicts either a temporal field (expansive, unpredictable), wave (swelling momentums) or rope (singular linearity).Celia Hollander is an LA based composer and artist working with audio, scores, performance, installation and text. Her work critically engages ways that audio and the act of listening can shape temporal perception, generate narratives, question cultural infrastructures and cultivate social connection. Well it had to happen eventually didn’t it. I have been thinking about releasing a DnB record for a long time but had stalled as I hadn’t been finding myself playing up at that tempo and I always want to be able to play the label records out as much as possible. Nowadays I am so all over the place when it comes to tempo that I could easily find myself reaching for 160-170 tracks and so now seems like the perfect time to release some music up at those speeds.

'Other Dimensions Lp', Terrence Dixon's latest work and the new adventure in 30D's ExoPlanets sublabel, comes for the very first time released in full length format, split in two sides, showing Terrence's two faces. As everyone knows, words can not describe the music of this Detroit visionary, but we'll try. Futuristic, avant-garde-esque, mesmerizing, trippy and minimalistic / reduced techno funk as expected in A side, but highly emotional and evocative, as only he can do. On the flip side, Terrence redefines and takes to another level the concept of dark, experimental, abstract, atmospheric, alienated and dystopian music, a true musical trip (perhaps a nightmare???) to dive into. An extremely personal and intimate album.

Pub is back with a 2020 remaster of the classic 'Summer' and a brand new track titled 'Fragile Root'Summer was originally released in 2000 on the Vertical Form label and has been out of print ever since. It even made it into Fact Mag's Top 20 Dub Techno tracks of all time

Undersound marks its 20th release with a collection of tracks from Scatterbaux. While the producer has a few sparse releases online, he displays considerable dexterity on these hardware jams.The A-side heavily features the classic 303 synth and opens with “Ghosts On The Wing”, where the artist is experimenting with an 8 bar acid pattern overlayed with dreamy leads and pads. This is followed by “Acid Squabble”, where two 303 lines bounce off each other exchanging their filter positions conveying a range of feelings and emotions.The B-side follows with “Chamber 27”, an electro jam with 808 drums and a driving 101 bassline. The EP closes with the fast paced “Womp Bucket”, with its evolving drum patterns and emotional overtones, completing a showcase of the producer’s signature acid tinged style.
