Arkajo is back on his own label with two originals and two remixes by kindred spirits, Polygonia and Konduku. Starting with the warm Entwine, stepped-out beats laced with swirly stabs. Polygonia's finishes off the A-side with an organic and atmospheric rework; saturated in deep, trippy, rattling tonally percussive flows. Arkajo's Signature leads the B-side: broken drum patterns with whispers from the realm between where Sweden and the UK meet. Konduku settles the score with his dark and eerie 4x4 techno take. A diverse record to keep in the bag for both hazy basements and the upcoming summer season.

You asked for it, we're bringing it on wax. After the digital release of Higher in 2017 on Neovinyl, dozens of messages were received to press this Black Loops cut on vinyl. Years later, we are making it real on a record with fresh remixes from DJOKO and Hugo LX, two of the most important players of the contemporary house scene across the globe. This release will see light in the summer of 2022.
On the back of V- Necks re issue Auto and the Lost 1990s Recordings one half of the band V Neck Mark Churcher takes time out from from his Chicago Bee project to deliver his first full length album on Emote. He teams up with the cult Brighton based experimental artist Alasdair Willis (The Vitamin B 12) who plays saxophone on 3 of the 11 tracks on the album. The album has all the hallmarks of an Emote record and more. Likely to be listed as down tempo / abstract ambient and blending many different styles together. If you are in tune with free jazz and abstract electronic tribal music you should find this good home spooky listening . It's over 25 years since Baby Ford decamped to the studio with, alternately, Mark Broom and the late Ian 'Eon' Loveday to re-examine the depths and possibilities of collaborative underground techno. The result, as we now know, was a giant step forward into a new sound, with a new label, Ifach, that would go on to define the blueprint for a more minimal sound it would take others a decade emulate. Monolense, four bittersweet, emotional, stripped bare explorations of techno has long been sought-after, commanding high prices on the secondhand market, and is finally getting a re-release. This is not just a moment in time, but a bookmark in UK techno history.
More new music from Dutch legendary producer Stefan Robbers (aka Florence/Terrace) on Delsin Records. Stefan Robbers launched the Delsin Eevo series together with Delsin last year to shine a light on his mighty Eevo Lute back catalogue. After already releasing new material as Terrace earlier this year he now returns with this release with four cuts of dark and slow paced dubby techno grooves.
