Die Orakel presents three tripped out leftfield excursions by Jaures
Formidable UK artist Harrison BDP is next up for our highly anticipated second release on E&X.Over the last few years Harrison has released on mostly every notable record label around building a prolific and much sought after discography in the process. His “Far Away EP” covers a little of everything musically from throbbing modern progressive house tones right through to crisp atmospheric breakbeats and even a touch of the balearic.Joining Harrison on the record we have invited Italian maestro Alex Neri for remix duties, with over thirty plus years as a DJ & producer Alex is synonymous for his sophisticated classics penning many early 90’s house hits as well recently finding fresh success on reputable imprints such as Slow Life and his own Wildflower records, we are absolutely delighted to welcome such a legendary figure to the label with his unique style & sound. I’m sure you will agree we have brought together two titans of the electronic music scene on this record and it does not disappoint.
Here we have part 2 of our 010 series which celebrates the now eleven day by day releases! With the days flying by, we hope these two various artists will help you celebrate the finite days we have on our beautiful green rock!Starting off on the A1 we have Terrarium from ‘Primitive Needs. This techy progressive bouncing tune will keep them heads bopping! On the A2 we have a unique track from Anderson. You can hear a cocktail of genres blending psytrance, breaks, trance, electro and more!On the flip side, we start off with a deep and bass heavy bouncing jam from Guy Contact! To close out the release, Valdemar brings us a deep and acid fueled cut to darken up your dance floor!
Mary Yuzovzskaya's 'The More Your Know' EP is released via her vinyl-only label Monday Off in spring and is her first solo EP since 2022. The Berlin-based artist returns to her imprint following her tracks taking root on labels like Kvalia, Mnestic, and Semantica.Up first on the record, 'Ittiologia' wriggles up in intensity with unbent drums and mysterious pads, building up to an unexplored alien soundscape marked by distant, otherworldly sonar pings. 'Micologia' follows, squelchy synths prattle amongst each other as rich bursts of low-end and splashes of 303 envelop the mind.On the flip, 'Astrometria' reaches for the starry sky in full modular glory. Sequences bounce up and down as filtered synths woosh in the background before 'Oceanologia' dives into the abyss as the ideal closer. Its hypnotic bassline is accompanied by the foreboding sounds of the deep, rounding off yet another exemplary showcase of excellent sound design from Mary Yuzovskaya and her Monday Off label.
In dialogue with both past and future, Slapfunk protégé Julian Anthony drops his debut solo EP and touches down with a 4-track invocation of classic 90s house templates.Tripped out sensibility meets sci-fi tendency as ‘Full Moon Fever’ and ‘Open Minded’ deliver full-bodied exercises in total dance floor immersion. Fractal fuel for the vision quest, they’re sophisticated like the finest dream house while channelling the buoyant, jacking heft of timeless Chi-town material.Wide eyed but tuff, ‘Stormy Tuesday’ rolls in with more of the groove-forward drive that typifies Anthony’s best work. It’s just the kind of immaculate gear we've come to expect from the Dutchman, and evoking golden era Dream 2 Science, ‘Virtual Reality’ ploughs the same furrow of propulsive, ‘90s-indebted house. Deep space projections radiating togetherness and warmth from the start.
