With the only predictability being Roza’s penchant for Genre Bending, STEP14 sets the tone for the freaky, fabulous year to come of Step Ball Chain in 2025.

The B is back! Roza Terenzi puts the B in SBC; bounce, bass and.. Boss. Returning with a four track all original EP “Ministry of Wish” the label head is calling on corners of her ever expanding distinctive sound with a sliding scale (etherial to filth) sound bath. Something for every occasion, whether you’re looking to get down and dirty, leave the dancefloor in dust or stargaze via subbass, we got you covered. Recorded between Berlin and Perth, the tracks all signify moments in time that feels like it’s going too fast, an archival stamp on the year 2024; sometimes after a party that lingers with mythical adrenaline, sometimes a personal moment to express reflection.

Polytunnel goes deep into electro made for dance floors. His style of melodic electro mixed with breakbeat influenced acid has seen his music gain acclaim from the likes of Mixmag, DJ Mag, Inverted Audio, XLR8R and supported by the late great Andrew Weatherall on his much-missed NTS show, Musics Not for Everyone. Previously released on labels including We’re Going Deep, Seventh Sign Recordings and Childsplay with support from the likes of Truncate, Dan Curtin, Placid, Vladimir Ivkovic, Marvel Dettmann, Ame and more.
"Points of Light” is the debut album from Sơn FM, consisting of Nic Ford and Attiss Ngo. After being part of the Vinyan cassette, the Vietnam-based duo returns to Siamese Twins Records with the label's first album in 2xLP format. The album is an ode to the patterns of nature, which are repetitive but never quite identical. Playing with the endless possibilities of phase-shifting is at the core of Sơn FM's heavy ambient sound, shaped by their signature live performances across art galleries or surrounded by nature. Weaving dreamy kinetic sound tapestries into morphing texture movements. Analog synthesizers loops slowly decay and unfurl, ranging from melodic elements to droning sequences in a fourth world atmosphere. This is music for inward journeys and exploring the interstices between cosmic patterns. Commanding harmonies evolve in soft-focus, phase-shifting soundscapes reminiscent of how sound is perceived underwater, at mountain summits, in the womb, or in altered states. Resembling liminal spaces between places, like dreams that haven't been dreamt yet or forgotten visions at the edge of consciousness, gently corralling its audience towards transcendental points of light.
Five years after their debut, INIT's sound remains as hard to pin down as it is unmistakable. On their new album, 'Gravity', Benedikt Frey and Nadia D'Alo continue to merge elements of house, electro, acid and post-punk, this time with a “lighter and more playful” perspective. The structures are more concise, vocals are more prominent and there's a greater presence of elements of popular music. With all, INIT deliver some of their most memorable tracks to date. Recorded in their Berlin home, 'Gravity' is the result of the duo experimenting in the studio while searching for new material for their live set. Some of the inspiration came from new gear such as the vocoder we hear on tracks like 'Disk-O' or 'Jungle'. Other cuts were influenced by their immediate context. 'Wrong Coded' calls out the territorial way some men behave towards women on the dancefloor. Its sarcastic lyrics might sound seductive, but they are a reprimand: “zip your fly, don't stand by...... see something you like..... step ASIDE!”. Lyrics are also important in 'Half Life', a moody ballad about the hardships of the Berlin winter. While in typical INIT fashion the general tone is slo-mo, narcotic and spooky, there's also a place for fast-paced cuts like 'Follow The Strings', which reminisces rave euphoria from an ethereal perspective. Fresh angles from a duo that keeps pursuing a very personal take on shadowy electronics. It might be more immediate but it's as mystifying as ever. The album comes in a limited-edition cassette with artwork by Arnau Pi
Essential remastered reissue from the Infrastructure NY archives that represents the start of Function's involvement in the Sandwell District project. A snapshot in time...Where all the madness began... Sandwell District. In the summer of 2004 David Sumner (Function), then living in his native New York City, was over in Europe playing some shows. When passing through Berlin to play the old Tresor location at Potsdamer Platz, he stayed with long term friend and collaborator, Karl O'Connor (Regis). One afternoon the two head over to Hardwax and T++ puts on a copy of Sleeparchive Elephant Island. After months of discussions regarding the flavor of the moment "Minimal", everything changed in that instant...They looked at each other and said "now this changes everything!" Finally, a way forward! Later that night at Tresor - as Function is playing, Regis is behind him organizing a mic...As Dave mixes Regis Guiltless with Elephant Island, Karl starts singing a punk cover version of Buddy Holly Peggy Sue over his set. It's all there in that one moment! Sandwell District. Dave goes back to New York inspired. He sees there's no information on the record apart from an email address. So, he gets in touch...He gets a reply from Roger, the two hit it off and organize the first ever Sleeparchive remix - Regis Asbestos (Sleeparchive Remix). On the B-side comes a cut-up version of Karl and Dave's Portion Reform classic Closing In, where they collaborate with Detroit Underground's Kero to form Re:Group. Adding deep 808 rhythms combined with Kero's signature Max MSP IDM madness, Left provides the perfect counterpart that made this EP the instant classic it became 18 years ago. Now, remastered in all its glory, sounding fresh, massive and better than ever - available on BandCamp for the first time - Infrastructure presents; Regis Asbestos (Sleeparchive Remix) b/w Re:Group Left.
