The Sound of Limo presents James Andrew's "A Slice Of Nice".

This is the signal, pushing vibes out to Andromeda. Nostalgia that touches the future. Obscure but surprisingly universal. It serenades, excites, builds up, bleeps, and destroys, raving vicariously for those born later, rocking down the house, waving back, acid house texture, breakbeats, indulgent music, dancing together like it's the last day, bright and burning fast, too much flavour for the future. Each side is divided in ''movements'' in a continuous morphing process without any pause between different tracks. The series is a collection of seven releases inspired by the following films created in the 20th century: THX 1138, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, The Thing, Akira, Terminator and Tron.

Four chunky and distinctive cuts spread across the vinyl EP.Deep and mysterious energy kicking off what is set to become an integral label in the coming years, sitting comfortably as the sub label of the prolific Partisan imprint. Hame's music is all about shared feelings without the barrier of words. In this three tracker debut EP on the new label of Lola Haro called 'Small Steps', he found the sweet spot between housy energy combined with emotion. His patiently evolving backgrounds combined with subtle energy buildups through themusic keep you in an hypnotic lock on the dance floor. Hushed has a straight forward and groovy low end with energy right from the start, while slowly evolving in a viby detailed trip. Relieve has a more subtle bassline combined with lush percussion elements and a melancholic, yet hopeful human touch - creating a feeling of acquiescence. Moments Like Now is a groovy, deep, club night bomb. Its ever changing yet repetitive lead is carried by a deep sub bassline and a punchy kick that keeps you moving while textures pads and vocals guide you through the track.
