SUZI is the new label from Cleveland, the Brussels-based artist behind releases on Kalahari Oyster Cult, ESP Institute and Hivern Discs. The label’s inaugural release unites contributions of 4 artists, with a common ground of techy, playfully modern-sounding tracks with a serious edge and a decent amount of bleeps.


XOLOT is a mexican-french duo composed of Vica Pacheco and Apulati Bien, both sound and visual artists based in Brussels. They present on Promesses their debut release: 'XOLOT', an eponymous 6 track EP where Vica’s warm voices and neo-bolero flow melt with Apulati’s cold and evolutive beats. The result is 6 ovni songs somewhere between de-construct dancehall, minimal trip-hop and glacial R’n’B. XOLOT creates music in order to celebrate love, life and death. Their debut EP will be out on the 11th of June in digital and limited edition white vinyl (with a handmade silk-screened cover, designed by Eliott Grunewald).

Second Ballet Mechanique re-issue from the Eevo Lute archives. Originally released in 1997, it was his second appearance on the legendary Eevo Lute imprint. The Borrenbergs 12 EP II marks Jeroen Borrenbergs return with three jams of 90s feeling electro and half-stepping techno that easily passed the test of time. First track 'Where's The DJ (Pissbreak Mix)' counts over 13 minutes of gritty acid electro, making a halfway transformation into a moody two-step mover. The perfect two-in-one track gives you all the time to go for a toilet break while still being in the mix ;). On the b-side the emotive side of Borrenbergs returns to the surface, with 'Vinyl Voyage' being a spooky bleep jam and 'Diamond Cut' presenting his trademark bassline energizers. Barcelona-based radio show / record label Canela en Surco is proud to present the first compilation of the best early works of Alex Martin, a local hero and pioneer of the electronic music scene in Barcelona and a key piece in the development of dance music during the early 90's.Producing under different pseudonyms (Sideral, A3K, The Fat DB, as well as his own name, Alex Martin), he has released EPs on iconic labels such as F Communications, Klang Elektronik, Minifunk, Boozo Music, as well as his own imprint Higlamm Phonographics.This double compilation aims to capture the wide range of styles Alex has produced: from ambient, downtempo, and IDM (Elipse, Mare Nostrum, Butterfly) to NYC and Detroit-influenced house music (I Wanna Look To The Stars, Incognita, Can Make It) to minimal techno and early tech house (Planetarium, Twirl, Firewall), Alex has navigated an immense variety of styles, consistently maintaining a highly personal sound of impressive quality for someone so far removed geographically from the main centers of creation at the time.Album comes with a double-sided insert with a photo of young Alex himself and liner notes from the artist and label owners. All tracks are officially licensed from the artist and remastered from the original DAT tapes by Simon Davey at The Exchange (London).
