DJ Stingray 313's Aqua Team series returns to Micron Audio. Originally released as a two-part series on the ever-innovative WeMe, the records quickly became collector's items. 15 years later, Aqua Team is now back in full force, reimagined as a triple vinyl album of underwater sonic explorations, fully remastered to meet modern cyborg standards. "Serotonin" starts the series off in true DJ Stingray style - pounding drums and 808 bass kicks, airy yet striking arpeggios and haunting vocal loops throughout. "Straight Up Cyborg" is a dystopian journey through cybernetic blips, bleeps and static and progressive build that truly bring the track to life. An aquatic alien bassline, sonar-like leads and hovering snare move swiftly in "Star Chart"; "Silicon Romance" and "Counter Surveillance" are modish tracks instantly recognizable as DJ Stingray 313's unique Detroit sound. "You have a destiny, and now is your time to fulfill it" says the mantra-like sample in "Potential", an entrancing synth loop sure to send listeners and dancefloors deep diving into euphoria. Pounding drums, floor-shaking low-end, running percussion and atonal, ominous samples theme the nefarious tracks "Binary Coven", "NWO", "LR001" and "Mindless", footnoting much darker undertakings in DJ Stingray 313's Aqua Team excursion. Closing out the Aqua Team saga is the strongly-titled "It's All Connected". Thick drums, glistening arpeggios and ethereal strings shine brightly across a wide stereo plane, creating a thundering wall of sound. UCC Harlo and NY Graffiti team up for the second release on Peace Anthem Records. Alternating between bleary-eyed impressions and tightly articulated expression the artists forge a path laden with plangent sound, muted color, and circular forms. Ketamine-paced grooves, baroque miniatures, hazy-humid sonics, and dub inflections populate this domain. Each delivers one original and a remix of the other’s track.

Fragments of Reality returns for the eagerly awaited third instalment with four exclusive tracks catering for diverse dancefloors.ATAXIA & Mister Joshooa kick off with 'Subversive' - a slick tripped-out breakbeat-driven jam from Detroit's Marble Bar and TV Lounge residents. It's a powerful and expertly programmed production with a barrage of drums and bass held down by an array of ricocheting synth and vocal FX, tried and tested on Detroit's most discerning dancefloors. Next up Harrison BDP let's loose with 'Dirty Mochyn', a 90's inspired roller from the prolific producer featuring his signature dubby sound design, synth licks and a throbbing bassline.Strap yourselves in, as the flip side opens with a deep house composition from hotly tipped Leeds based producer Adam Pits. 'Pat On The Back' sucks you into a wormhole of bubbling music with cosmic pads swirling around the stereo field and a beautifully expressive synth line - finished to perfection with a highly swung TR909 groove. The record is then perfectly balanced by Berlin based Keisuke with 'Ok Taiko' - a deep driving house track following hot on the heels from his killer debut EP on Phonica White. 'Ok Taiko' oozes with TB303 goodness and nostalgia-evoking piano stabs, all strung together with an ever evolving house rhythm.
