With a remix and a compilation cameo already under his belt, Canadian figurehead Priori makes his Kalahari return for the debut proper. 3 squelchy incursions complete with a hefty remix from fellow Oyster Cult acolyte Sansibar.

Known for traversing breezy, horizontal zones, the NAFF co-founder sets downbeat and ambient concerns aside for the direct and propulsive. Expect insistent, urgent forays down the wormhole as nocturnal jaunts made of ritual and darkroom throb coalesce with meditative, essential rhythm.

This is fractal gear born from the the traditions of European, Japanese and American Mid-West techno; tunnelling and immersive, conjuring moments of ascension for the gathered masses.

Finishing on Sansibar’s meaty refit, the one-two punch of seismic kick and dry-as-bone snare propels Priori’s original in a whole new direction.

Balance is restored – melody intact – with three tracks of stark machine work from Jump Source. Robust stabs, polyrhythmic confusion, tearjerking pads; the two laid it all down, with some aid from their confidant Sabola on “Tonearm Extender”.
This special, sixth release on Neotropiq brings together four artists from the DJ collective that has grown from the booth of the label’s secretive and sought-out parties in South London. The “Treefrog Army EP” features solo tracks by the label’s founder, Silverlining, alongside Neotropiq residents, Trixie, Oliver Moon, and South London legend, Tom Gillieron.
TRANCE ATLANTYK is dropping some serious heat with the upcoming release of EARLY ZEROS, the latest EP from label founders PANKOFF & DJ VARIUS TRAX. After experimenting with some polish vocals on their “Sound of Poldon” debut EP, the duo serves us this time a modern high-energy tribute to the early 2000s—an era when progressive house and trance ruled the dance floors. The EP kicks off with "Early Zeros," a track that’s pure nostalgia wrapped in a slick, modern package. Think of it as a sonic time machine, zooming you back to those legendary nights when the bass was thumping, and the vibe was electric. It’s got that uplifting, feel-good energy that’s impossible to resist.Next up is "Schemes," a track that’s as deep as it is groovy. This one’s all about the journey, with layered beats and hypnotic rhythms that build and evolve, taking you on a ride through the trippy side of progressive house and early trance music. It’s got that classic, boundary-pushing vibe that’ll have you lost in the music. On the B side the duo slows down the tempo with the track “We Can Rebuild Him” that pays homage to the 6 Million Dolar Man, one of Pankoffs favourite TV series. Piercing cascading synths, a driving bass line and some breakbeat percussion thrown into the mix make this one a great choice for the eclectic dj’a out there. And just when you think it couldn’t get any better, Bliss inc steps in with a remix of "We Can Rebuild Him" that flips the script in all the right ways. This remix increases the tempo of the chuggy original and transfoms the track into a stomping peak time banger that some might label as furious progressive tech trance.EARLY ZEROS isn’t just an EP—it’s a party, a flashback, and a forward leap all rolled into one
For album number four on Rezpektiva we once again turn to our man Quaid. After his magical representation of intelligent music for REZLP2two this time we present an album featuring music recorded before those sessions. Ben Naylor aka Quaid (The OG btw) quickly became disillusioned with the music industry and made a career change of direction leaving behind hours worth of studio sessions on DAT. We have managed to put together another 8 tracks from those unreleased sessions and present them here on a 2x12".
Companion welcomes Ivanna Ivanivna back to the label, who unveils her debut full-length release as Space Biology. Following her much loved single ‘Pulsar’ released on Companion Collection II, Space Biology returns with ‘Osmosis’ an extended EP further showcasing the prolific Ukrainian producers' boundless creativity and technical prowess. Osmosis delivers a six-track constellation of lysergic electronica, traversing through amorphous domains of dub, downtempo and IDM. Its pulse is punctuated by muted breaks and diffuse high end frequencies that skip and skitter across wobbly dub-infused basslines. Rich textural pads wash over sweeping synths, whilst restrained glimpses of groove shine through from the distance and lead the way forward. This free flowing release encapsulates a sense of mysticism that urges us to consider our consciousness - it leaves our minds wandering amongst the stars whilst low end fullness grounds us on Earth and reconnects us to our surroundings. All tracks written and produced by Ivanna IvanivnaMastered by Phoebe TwiggArtwork by Remi VolclairDesign by THEAJMWorldwide distribution by One Eye WitnessCompanion 2024
Spincycle records presents the first imprint on their label - a two track EP from Mieka Du Franx and Mark Ambrose on 180g heavyweight vinyl. After meeting at a gig in LA, Mieka and Mark hit the studio together and recorded these tracks in 2016. The result - two club ready house tracks with deep, spun out vocal takes. Side A, Wake Me Up (Dreaming Dub) leads the way with floating pads, warm echoing vocals and a dubbed out, pulsating bassline. Big after hours tip if you’re feeling a little playful. Side B, Wake Me Up comes in heavy with wonky deep house chords and Mark's signature syncopation, a treat for the later hours. Mark Ambrose is a man that needs no introduction from us. A veteran and legend in the house and techno realm who is renowned for creating iconic and unique music. Mark has been instrumental in shaping the unmistakable sound of UK tech house and techno since the late 80s.Mark's love affair with house music was fueled by the beats of Chicago, New York, and Detroit and he quickly rose to fame in England's club scene. As his love for music deepened, he ventured into producing, birthing his label, CRAYON, in 1997, one of the most iconic labels in the tech house realm. Ambrose has also produced many tracks under the alias SKYMASTER, to showcase his heavier techno sound. So many of Mark’s productions are now underground classics, and many have been repressed and re-released in recent years, a testament to Mark’s talent, passion and the impact he’s had on the electronic music scene and its history. Originally hailing from the East Coast in the US, Mieka Du Franx, had a lifelong passion for rhythmic beats. Her journey started with ballet, jazz, and tap dance and eventually evolved into freestyle dancing, which exposed her to New York's vibrant Freestyle and House music scene where she began to explore underground dance music in the early 90s. Exploring the various clubs in New York eventually led her to the dj’s which then led her to working in the music industry. Mieka worked behind the scenes for many years, in record shops like the infamous Satellite Records, while also exploring her own productions and eventually started her own label Felinephonix Music in 2005. From its second release, Felinephonix Music was recognized by some of the world's leading DJs and publicised on BBC radio. The label became eponymous for house, tech-house and avant guard accents, with an emphasis on lyrical experimentation with Mieka's voice becoming the labels signature element. Mieka's dedication to working behind the scenes with her spectrum of many talents manifested many multi-media endeavours tinged with her unique flavour and also led her to grace the main stage at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Movement, alongside renowned artists like Francois Kevorkian, Carl Cox and Steve Bug. In 2016, Mark's path intersected with Mieka Du Franx at a gig in LA, leading to a remarkable collaboration. We are honoured to present these works between two veterans of the electronic music scene. This record embodies both of the artists unwavering passion for underground music and fuses both their unique sonic aesthetics. In loving memory of Mieka Du Franx.
