Following on from previous releases on Left, Right & Centre, Pressure Dome and Control Freak, Pluralist joins the Le Chatroom family with his ‘Console’ EP. The three original tracks have been floating around for the last few years, already featuring in many radio mixes and DJ sets and we are delighted to be finally releasing them on a 12” backed with a heavy remix by Djoser (3024). Will Bowen’s productions are instantly recognisable, his expertly crafted club workouts have already led to regular support from Ben UFO, Re:ni, Ploy and landed him a monthly residency on Rinse France. Drawing from his drumming background, Will’s tracks are intricate and detailed with each element carefully placed and layered for maximum impact. With sometimes 6 or 7 percussive patterns superimposed he still manages to maintain a solid groove where other producers can struggle.His ‘Console’ EP is some of his finest work, striking the perfect balance between utilitarian drum tracks designed for the club and actual songs with catchy vocal and tuned percussion melodies.

Exhausted Modern builds on his artistic journey with the release of the Year of the Rat remixes EP, a collective reinterpretation that takes the murky, hidden depths of the album to new rhythmic dimensions. Philipp Otterbach starts off the A-side with a spellbinding composition for the thoughtful, dissolving Pineal Gland into an ethereal cluster of solemn melodies and vocals. Annechoic's take on Apathy Eats You Alive delves into the melodic side of the track, polishing it for the dance floor. Poperttelli draws out T-Maze from dark introspection to beats that waver between a glitch and a heartbeat, with the feeling of having been resuscitated. The B-Side sees Ayaz putting words to a 180-degree spin on Food of the Gods with hallucinogenic dynamism: a grimy tale of facing the unavoidable. Finally, NVST returns with her Hifive remix of Hard Working Rats, oscillating between heavy and melancholic with soul-permeating resonance.

New Tempo Records sublabel; TempOzone releases Brighton based producer Etch; who dives deep into the underworld of Breakbeat / Acid-Techno science with these five rugged 'n raw tracks. Etch is the most inventive break-experimentalist in operation right now. Cutting breaks is his modus operandi. This beautiful crafted crystal clear vinyl 12" comes in a new designed Tempo Records high quality "Kraft" outer sleeve and a beautiful coloured innersleeve. After two archival releases, Raakvlak appears in the frontline of contemporary sonics, and it is the French collective Organizatsiya that gets the label’s feet wet.Vlug, Dutch for rapid, is a work marked by a sense of being in transit. Bent under lockdown circumstances and corresponding feelings, all tracks were created in a car (!) and on the road throughout various places in Europe. Haunted by good old escapism, yet already too remote from anything to really drive away from. This translates to a dreamlike album that provokes the past and the present by taking elements of both, and stirring it up until something in-between comes out. The organic and the digital blend effortlessly, as acoustic guitar and bass sit next to intelligent electronix and similar FX. Sometimes this takes centre stage, while at others it forms a natural canvas for spoken words.On Akzident and Een Lied Voor Jou these words are provided by that other lyrical maverick, Rik van Boeckel, whose archives had been subject of Raakvlak’s second release Deze Hoofden Praten. Here too, old and new blend, into an in-betweenness that forms an entity of its own.
