We’re utterly excited to welcome again Scott Featherstone on OCD after his first outing on The Secret Sun under his moniker Beyond A Voice.Scott’s spirit while making music is quite possibly the purest we’ve ever found until today: completely free in his approach to music, ingenuous and without prejudices, to our eyes he makes music like a kid discovers the world setting his productions free from any conformity. And he's a master in his craft. We’re extremely grateful to have been able to dig through his DATS (some of which are 25 years old!) and to compile this EP that we feel encompasses the spirit of House Music in some of its most emblematic and varied facets.
We are really happy to announce the second release of the label: Acidshanti EP, presenting Uruguayan artist Santi Avg, member of the Holístico Records Crew. The EP consists in 3 electro tunes and a bonus track (B1) featuring Nicolas Amaro as guest artist of the record.
Four emotive cuts of Chicago flavoured, acidic deep house by Utrecht based producer and 030303 crew member Böhm.
Prolific and often nomadic label boss, producer, and studio engineer, Tony Price (Maximum Exposure) has been making a name for himself over these last years, as he's lurked in the shadows while moving from city to city around the world, leaving a unique and wide-spanning musical mark in his wake.On his 13 track IBM-CONTRA LP, Price conjures up a wild melange of free jazz and high speed electro funk next that sits next to dusty ambient, street tough house, and even Bill Conti-esque dark alley rainy street jams featuring saxophone work from Alex Zhang Hungtai and Colin Fisher. The album is unmistakably Tony at his best, as he weaves in and out of these genres making them make sense next to each other. Whether it's providing a shady saxophone driven backdrop for the next inevitable worldwide bio-warfare crisis or tapping into the roots of stripped down classic electro and house for the floor, this is the artist at peak creativity flexing his skills.
French Electro Caster DynArec, appears almost like a living sequencer, breathing keynotes patterns among forgotten FM modulations. Four tracks for true Electro lovers…
