Here comes the first release of re:earth records!Local DJ delivers 5 golden house-ish tracks, with echoing synths and evolving rhythm structures. A refreshing EP that puts you in the right mood.
The transcendental ambiance of the Kāthā cassette continues its amphibian metamorphosis. Adapting to its new terrestrial reality.Cerebral elements spread through the spine of Kusuma’s double offering towards Nic Ford’s ‘Cyberd’ layering percussive realms with a delicate balance of obscurity and enlightenment. Bolstering into the raw energy of a scared rainforest at dawn.On the flip side, Konduku stays fearless on Khun Fluff’s ‘Daw’ with his signature style of ominous drum patterns, fluttering low-ends. Goosebump-inducing textures across the grid - keeping the feline’s voice and meditative presence reverberating throughout. Cosmic veteran, Higher Intelligence Agency, transforms Temple Rat’s “The Garden of Earthly Delights” through his trademark synthetic modulations into a spellbinding B2 dream.
Over the last couple of years, Morph and Bedside of Copenhagen have been engaged in the ambitious and on-going project Lightroom - a delicate exploration of male intimacy as a healing ritual against toxic masculinity. Working with more than fifty people to date, Lightroom has given birth to film, photography and music, and has traveled around the world at festivals and exclusive events, facilitating a continuous room for reflection on the concept and image of man - with the intention of decalcifying our ideas to create movement towards the new.In 2022, Lightroom is giving birth to In the light room - a full-length album by sound artist Enotea that features original music from the 2020 erotic short film Ei Blot Til Lyst by Marco Stoltze, the main piece that initiated the project to begin with. In the light room is released by the independent label InterCourse in collaboration with Morph and Bedside. In the light room creates a euphoric whirling, a spherical and meditative space that is alive and dynamic with the intention to facilitate metaphysical reflection. Pointing fingers back at classic late krautrock albums and forward into an aesthetic roughness of piano and guitar compositions merged with concrete sounds to stir up the sonic image, In the light room doesn’t suggest music so much as an exact art, but as a mysterious, ineffable force, rich in spirit.Enotea says that ”In the light room is about waves and walls, and the waves on walls insisting on freedom.”The album features music originally composed for the experimental porn short Ei Blot Til Lyst directed by Marco Stoltze and produced by Bedside Productions.
In dialogue with both past and future, Slapfunk protégé Julian Anthony drops his debut solo EP and touches down with a 4-track invocation of classic 90s house templates.Tripped out sensibility meets sci-fi tendency as ‘Full Moon Fever’ and ‘Open Minded’ deliver full-bodied exercises in total dance floor immersion. Fractal fuel for the vision quest, they’re sophisticated like the finest dream house while channelling the buoyant, jacking heft of timeless Chi-town material.Wide eyed but tuff, ‘Stormy Tuesday’ rolls in with more of the groove-forward drive that typifies Anthony’s best work. It’s just the kind of immaculate gear we've come to expect from the Dutchman, and evoking golden era Dream 2 Science, ‘Virtual Reality’ ploughs the same furrow of propulsive, ‘90s-indebted house. Deep space projections radiating togetherness and warmth from the start.
Dominic Glynn together with Justin Mackay are both very respected producers out of the early underground Techno and Progressive London scene, concealed behind various alias as single artists and as a duo, releasing music for some of the most seminal labels such as Infonet and Rising High and working part-time providing BBC television's Doctor Who series with incidental music. In 1996 they started their own label No Bones, a platform based on creative freedom and quality outputs attracted rising artists, and some bigger names as well, from the cream of a global underground electronica, covering a large range of styles including breakbeat, drum & bass and future funk.
LEGRAM VG & Rubber Ducky Records watch over as noble producers from lands far and wide battle it out to solidify themselves forever in plastic as the victors of Game of Tunes!
