The new Memoria Recordings is from S.O.N with a kick-ass remix from Techu.,
Blending late 2000's minimalism and harmonies with razor-sharp sound design, Nous'klaer Audio is excited to present Erik Luebs. The American via Japan techno producer joins the label with a four-track solo EP dropping in 2025. While Erik has released music on other labels sparingly, his self-released catalog is vast, versatile, and deeply immersive - a favorite on repeat at Nous'klaer HQ. We're proud to present his first offering with us. Glimpse of Reality is a deep dive into syncopated rhythms and intricate sound design. The EP is rich with atmospheric sounds that are meticulously crafted yet hit with real impact. Each track is layered with delicate textures and packed with detail, rewarding close listening as new elements reveal themselves with each play - especially on big soundsystems.
Sundial is the leftfield division of Vargmal Records showcasing the outer edges of sound and bringing forward artists who push the boundaries. For the birth of this endeavor, Jay Glass Dubs commences the project’s take-off with the six-track LP, ‘Resurgence’. The prolific Greek producer, whose explorations exercise a distinctive take on dub music, releases his new album on September 27th.‘Resurgence’ is shaped by a perennial sonic stream of abstract dub formations. Within this elevated, desert-like plane, doused by the energy of the sun-heated strings, the hypnotic repercussions maintain an unaltered mood equilibrium of forbearance, stabilizing a majestic inner poise. Throughout this spiritual expedition, crystalline sounds render an effect of prismatic granularity, decorating further the slow self-awakening with their abundance.Confidently, Jay Glass Dubs, with compositional prowess as a compass in his palm, leads the way through his genuine, vast field of soothing enchantments. By fulfilling promises of meditative deliverance, ‘Resurgence’, in its immersive entirety, cleanses with therapeutic waters, a compassionate core of introspectiveness and essential purity.

Berlin scene figurehead Gilles Aiken, AKA Edward, coming through with a massive Kalahari debut (and it’s safe to say he understood the assignment). Booting off on a massive remix tip as the veteran producer reinterprets Mike Parker & Aric Rist’s Trybet project, but trust him to allow for a moment of dancefloor introspection. It’s prime early morning gear in a rousing juxtaposition of beatific string harmony and tough-as-nails deepness. Triumphant ‘window shutters open in the club at 5 AM’-type shit. The other two are quintessential Edward: impressionistic, widescreen odysseys across lysergic terrain, but groove-forward where it counts. A pair of head-spinning explorations intended for the dancefloor, flush with shadowy flex, insectoid detail and tripped-out flourishes while keeping it funked-out in the tradition of Detroit. The ‘Deep Sea Villain EP’ plumbs the depths of smudged abstraction, and as we’ve come to expect from Edward, it’s big on hallucinatory detail. It all oozes the multi-layered surrealism that typifies his best work. Proper transcendent biz.
"For ALT015, we welcome the fabled DMX Krew for a second time. The Space Is Inside EP accurately reflects the artist's multiple decennia in the studio, shaping his aesthetics on the axis of electro, techno and synthpop. On Vicious Windows, a distinct lead pierces through the ominous, unison-drenched synths stabs and square waves. As the track progresses, we are kept on our toes by drum fills that sound like hydraulic valves releasing pressure and subtle detune slider fiddling. The hot and sweaty Bass box combines zap-like bass patterns with even more jittery synth work, while the titular woofer addresses us in a vocoder voice. Warm Places echoes Dutch West Coast, and although concise, sufficient melody and modulated drums are snuck in to immediately reveal the artist's hand. On Space Is Inside dark chords interplay with a wistful FM bass melody. Subtle bursts of synth sparkle keep everything rooted in silky melancholy. While the strings on Mental Disturbance are also gloomy, the lead is more frantic. The 303's modulation is constant, and slowly flanged snare drums try their best keeping it in line. Closer Tunnel Beneath Precinct 11 sure doesn't tone down either. The spooky, reverb-laden synth work collides with a dark, catchy bass, its cutoff and resonance knobs never left untouched. It closes down an EP of machine funk that covers a lot yet manages to shape into a satisfyingly cohesive arc."
