New Weapons Of Desire.

We at WOD are privileged to be recipients of some amazing music, however, there are certain artists that take things to a different level. The attention to detail and more importantly the content of their expressive musical ability. Stu Crosbie is one such artist. Those who have yet to discover how good he is need to seek him and his music out. Absolutely superb!!! Stu has released on his own Dark Arts imprint and as Bespoke Cutter on Novac Music. Now we are very pleased to release a 12" EP from the man himself, five tracks of astonishing stripped-back techno that will ignite the dancefloor of any club.

Obliq Records launches “Démodé”. First release by Giuseppe Palermo on his new label. A journey from more closed sounds to open more melodies; with some tape cuts for some instruments within the tracks.
Montreal’s sapphic mixxtress, the elusive mogul Maara, unveils her debut full length LP via Step Ball Chain. A pairing written in the stars, with twelve dynamically diverse and emotive soundscapes of downtempo bliss, spine-chilling drum and bass and elevated electronica - timeless anthems for sonic indulgence and reflection. Take a deep dive into the sensually charged inner workings of the already prolific producer’s mind.An effervescent atmosphere envelopes it’s way through the records entirety, whether it be gloriously lush pads, melancholic words and whispers from her own lips or subterrantian bass. Maara’s world of sound showcases the wild spectrum of emotion, the empathetic passion of joy in Awaken, Plum Plum and Sapphic Rehabilitation Centre alongside the darkness of Insidious Force or Rough ‘N’ Ready. But like most things, the purest beauty can be found within the grey areas, where majority of this records lies. A powerful ebb and flow between cloudy twilight and it’s recurring silver lining, Nothing Sacred wraps you around it’s finger whilst Erotics Of Betrayal pulls you in unexpected directions sure to conjure feelings you didn’t know existed.A masterfully united album from start to finish, each listen unveils endless intricacy, delicately and deliciously revealing the potent DNA of Maara.
A new wave hits with our close friend Locky Mazzucchelli. The record matches his sound as a dj, one of a kind. Trippy hardware minimal to influence the mind of your crowd.
This new Ep is the symbiotic union between the human mind of 616 and his machines. These tracks have been controlled, created and recorded in real time directly to tape without the help of a computer and microchip…love transistor.
High value DJ clobber that gives the purchasing selector options throughout the night. House-master Matthias joins Craigie Knowes for his debut EP with the Scottish imprint. Classy cuts glittering with originality and outright funk.
Pure Virgin EP, compiling 3 original tracks that were produce by Vietnamese artist "TrinhNu" during the most intense lockdown in Vietnam, is considered as a love letter to the early 90s dance music - unconventional, progressive and fearlessly fun. “A Shout Going Out” kicks off as a quasi-breakbeat House track, accompanied by the nostalgic samples. “The Cliffhanger”, inspired by European proto-Trance, offers a mystical ambience and a darker atmosphere to the club. On the other side, peak-time “Tu Nay” is the journey of ravey sounds with euphoric M1 synth-lines and classic samples. Liquid Earth guides “Tu Nay” into an orbit around a trippier and richer sphere of Tech House.
