Ulla’s productions reveal a discerning process of stripping tracks to their essence, letting space, silence, simplicity and repetition be her guide. They lend a magic touch to a difficult and minimal style of music, creating an album that is comforting and tranquil, yet hypnotizing and transportive. Most evidently, UIla’s music is inspired, by emotions and experiences unknown to us, but perhaps best represented in her own words:“keeping pictures on a wall left there by someone else.day dreaming about something not real.hearing a friend walk through the front door.letting a plant die.the silence of a room when the box fan is turned off."

Over the last couple of years, Morph and Bedside of Copenhagen have been engaged in the ambitious and on-going project Lightroom - a delicate exploration of male intimacy as a healing ritual against toxic masculinity. Working with more than fifty people to date, Lightroom has given birth to film, photography and music, and has traveled around the world at festivals and exclusive events, facilitating a continuous room for reflection on the concept and image of man - with the intention of decalcifying our ideas to create movement towards the new.In 2022, Lightroom is giving birth to In the light room - a full-length album by sound artist Enotea that features original music from the 2020 erotic short film Ei Blot Til Lyst by Marco Stoltze, the main piece that initiated the project to begin with. In the light room is released by the independent label InterCourse in collaboration with Morph and Bedside.In the light room creates a euphoric whirling, a spherical and meditative space that is alive and dynamic with the intention to facilitate metaphysical reflection. Pointing fingers back at classic late krautrock albums and forward into an aesthetic roughness of piano and guitar compositions merged with concrete sounds to stir up the sonic image, In the light room doesn’t suggest music so much as an exact art, but as a mysterious, ineffable force, rich in spirit.Enotea says that ”In the light room is about waves and walls, and the waves on walls insisting on freedom.”The album features music originally composed for the experimental porn short Ei Blot Til Lyst directed by Marco Stoltze and produced by Bedside Productions.

Venezuelan artist Giorgio Maulini is back in his own imprint presenting his MAU002 EP ‘Bitter Knowledge’. A very delicated piece shifting through various genres matching perfectly Giorgio’s detailed musical imput. A1 is a down tempo ambient piece composed by the Venezuelan himself on his piano, mixing rhodes chords and and pads creating a beautifull uplifting and peacefull feel good vibe. A2 is a super housey track where Giorgio shows off his skills at the keyboard with a very Jazzy key progression sending us to a 6 minute beach flavored trip. To finish the A side a heavy roller for the dancefloor with some hypnotic drum grooves, congas and trippy textures served with an uplifting housy synth. A true leg shaker.On the B side, it starts with a heavy laid back jazzy Hip-Hop beat where Giorgio showcases where his production roots come from. On B2 some nasty housy break-beats melted with some congas and inspirational knowledge quotes from Afrika Bambaata talking about the roots of Hip-Hop culture. To finish this beautifull coloured EP we find Saas’s Jazz the cherry on top of the cake.A complex construction on the drums shifting from break-beats to 4×4 beat with a melodic masterclass on those housy hypnotic chords makes the perfect cut to end this EP with style.Continuosly evolving in his production, Giorgio has a bright future ahead.
