Pensaments Sònics is a new label born from the necessity to release albums from a sonic perspective.

Pensaments Sònics is a new label born from the necessity to release albums from a sonic perspective. The label will focus on works and projects built around artist conceptualization, sound design, experimentation, new creative approaches, innovative techniques and the exploration of artistic boundaries and intersections with other art forms.

The label's inaugural release is by Torino-based artist and Gang Of Ducks co-founder Sabla. 'Music for Melted Floors' is a record about changes, perceptions and illusions. Music that aims to create a cozy dimension where space and time lose their life-defining role in favour of more tactile sensations. To do so, the Italian producer weaves seven deep compositions that unfold in circles, constantly moving and subtly evolving. Introspective music that explores mental spaces and contrasts between abstract sound washes and ceremonial percussion. The idea of space is one of the key points of the record. As Sabla himself explains, he “tried to think in terms of 3D space” while working on the tracks, “moving things back and forth in an attempt to warp this sonic space”. A way of distorting perceptions that generates unstable yet serene soundscapes.

After the last EP from Eversines, Twig comes back with 4 tracks from the italian producer Niki Bertullo owner of the Bebop Label and based in Genova.
The rattle of drums, scattered along the beaten track, hypnotically guiding you to a place not yet visited; yet all too familiar. Whispers and forgotten chants in surround sound luring an inner urge to surrender, to drink from Sepehr’s Diaspora Cocktail. The 5 track EP finds dwelling on Planet Euphorique for its historical 20th release, emitting a vibration of deeper dance and intriguing electronia the label is notorious for. The first sip opens your ears to the Iranian-American’s sonic sphere, rooted in live freakouts that may or may not be fuelled by his potent audio elixr, a signature special of hedonistic heat. Intoxicated by fragments of percussive EBM, tweaked out dungeon techno and sexy electro, the liquid drips and the delicious potions are stirred and shaken for your pleasure.
Movetone Wax is thrilled to unveil its second vinyl release."Folly Path EP" showcases the combined talents of Maik Yells and the esteemed house producer Tripmastaz. After Maik's debut EP, "Rima," he returns to Movetone Wax with two solid and original tracks on the B side.On the A side, house legend Tripmastaz graces the EP with a mind-bending 9-minute remix, infusing his signature sound and injecting a new dimension of depth and groove into the release.
The first release of the Apolo records label marks the grand debut of the Scienza X duo composed by Portuguese talents Nuno Carneiro and Rowan. First word of advice: don’t be fooled by the debut stamp, Rowan is a celebrated producer and Nuno has been doing the rounds behind the wheels of steel from Europe to Latin America for a long, long time, and this is clear from the outset. Both “Evil Laugh” and “17” have their distinct identities. The first track harnesses an energy not far from the sounds of Uruguay made popular by artists like Z@P, Nicholas Lutz and DJ Koolt. As for 17, it’s certainly no filler, either a reflective opener or a closer to entwine the audience (this is a dance record!) on their way out of an early morning in Café Barges or Ibiza. The mixes are a blessing overall for the record, each adding layers and use cases that make this a something of a buy-on-sight tool. From Dan Ghenacia’s full on dancefloor-driven interpretation of 17 to Snad’s thumping version of Evil Laugh to Wareika’s… well… how do you describe his sound? If you know, you know. This debut on the label named after his first son was conceived with a lot of work, lets just hope that if he’s going to father any more projects in the future, they sound this good.
