Varuna returns to their homebase with a heavy double pack of sci-fi techno jams. Over the course of five tracks they explore a lively space in between murky slo-mo techno and tripped out ambient mutations.
UCC Harlo and NY Graffiti team up for the second release on Peace Anthem Records. Alternating between bleary-eyed impressions and tightly articulated expression the artists forge a path laden with plangent sound, muted color, and circular forms. Ketamine-paced grooves, baroque miniatures, hazy-humid sonics, and dub inflections populate this domain. Each delivers one original and a remix of the other’s track.
The acidic electro master Sound Synthesis is back on Furthur Electronix with a brand new album! Limited copies and comes with a beautifully printed Gatefold sleeve.
Pellicola represents five fundamental episodes of the artist’s childhood, expressed through introspective elegant melodies. The compositions lead us to visualize the abstract emotional landscape with nocturnal blue tones through the timbres of the Moog Sub37.This synth being the main instrument that characterizes the timbre of this mini album with a purelyelectronic sound where bpm moves between 60 and 150.The execution free of quantization allows us to fully absorb the emotion and humanity of these songs that develop over the musician's memories, making those immortal and no longer vulnerable like a burning film.
Wonky minimal and house from Lucretio & Omar Akhrif and Darren Allen marking label's 20th vinyl release.
Following the success of their “Deeply Floored” EP earlier this year, DJ Pipe and Global North are BACK to bring you “The Night-Time Economy” EP.The by-product of a spontaneous spaghetti-fuelled Tuesday evening up in the Sky Lounge, “Puttanesca” sees Pipe teaming up with old mates Hartman and Fonte for a swingin’ house romp guaranteed to set pulses racing [chilli emoji]. On the A2, “Mobile Craft” fastens uninhibited bass-pressure to nimble percussion and a litany of twisted vocal snippets - speeding across the surface of your eardrums at turbo-charged velocities.Ushering us further into the Night-Time, B1 “Escuela De La Vida” is a seductive after-hours groover truly brought to life by the sultry vocal stylings of Barcelona’s finest, Andrea. The blissful “Horizon” closes things out - its buoyant bassline striding onwards against a backdrop of dubbed-out stabs, conjuring up hazy, half-remembered visions of Ibiza villa acid trips and eight-hour Hoppetosse closing sets.Enjoy the beats and stay active… The Night-Time Economy needs YOU!
