Varuna returns to their homebase with a heavy double pack of sci-fi techno jams. Over the course of five tracks they explore a lively space in between murky slo-mo techno and tripped out ambient mutations.

Originally released as one side of a split E.P on Firewire Recordings back in 2002 “Venting Steam” and “Solid Gear” get a fresh remaster on Varial Records.Featuring alongside are two additional unreleased tracks created and recorded at The Cube in the same time period, "Muted Point" and "Tallon Drive" provide a more lo-fi 4/4 techno workout. Inspired by the other worlds we escape into through sci-fi and video game culture.

Well who would have bloody thought it. 20 releases on Holding Hands. That is bananas to be typing that out. It’s been a hell of a ride and I am over the moon to be able to confidently sit here and say that I still absolutely love every single release that has been put out since the first back in 2017. What a bunch of absolute slammers!
