Iro Aka are back on Hivern with the last installment of the trilogy that started back in 2020 with "El Passatge de les Ombres". The present album, "Planet Earth", which will also be released on CD, showcases a new side of the catalan duo. The seven songs share a clinical approach in sound design of both percussion and ambiances. Cuts like the opener "14.696" build up slowly while "Aquamarine", one of the singles, showcases a more euphoric side of the project. This combination of tension, spaced out beats and hypnotic cuts reflects Iro Aka's commitment to creating a cohesive and immersive work that rewards thorough listens. Illustration by Vica Pacheco and design by Eenyakee.

G of D welcomes back to the catalogue its co-founder Sabla, back to his spiritual home, with a collaborative ep alongside one of the most revered and transcendental artists out there, Donato Dozzy.Crono is a collection of 4 tracks made in the span of 2019-2022, following each other in chronological order of creation.
In an era where information runs fast, and just one year ago feels like ages ago, the music inside this ep comfortably sits in a time bubble, absorbing old and new influences and melting them organically.Dozzy’s signature enchanting synth sequences, created with iconic synthesizers Buchla and Ems Synthi, steadily flow in and out with digital sounds and editing by Sabla.
The core of this collaboration is the exploration of these steady flows, which is a peculiarity easily found in both artists’ works. The 4 Flusso flow like water, like thoughts, like energy, lifting up with no specific intention if not the simple act of moving forward.Artwork by Jonathan Castro Alejos and Tom Volkaert

Asphalt Records second output is a forward thinking, hardcore continuum friendly take on the grittier side of industrial techno from Birmingham by the neighbourhood's new pestilent squathouse residents NeonDemon. This EP has its roots buried deep in seamless concrete foundations scaffolded by Mick Harris, via Surgeon & Regis inspired techno half-times, while pushing tech-step’s most asphyxiating soundscapes to sheer schizophrenia (i.e Guided by Whispers). The grime influxed club architectures (Pattern Down), the weightless demonic punk industrial attitude reminiscent of Throbbing Gristle (Pentastar) and the dark humor embedded in this 12’ (Pandeirada de Tella Remix) make Stains EP the perfect soundtrack for today’s apocalyptic contemporary events. Mastered as usual by Jason Goz at Transition, pressed in thick asphaltic 180g and wrapped in our usual pavement-black outer sleeve.

Another preciosity from the amazing Exist Dance catalogue made readily available to your record collections in newly remastered format. On the A side, “We're Go” is a 3 stage piece of breaky prowess developing throughout a total of almost 13 minutes spiraling around a catchy cosmonautic vocal sample. B1 brings a quintessential Rave energy to the table with samples from live crowds echoing over high octane break rhythms, would be hard to stand still for the duration of this - highly effective on a dance floor. B2 takes a turn towards more introspective moods as it brings in psychedelic elements intertwined with “world music” samples. Very much characteristic of the distinguished Kandel/Chasteen Exist Dance sound. West coast early 90's rave at its best, can't go wrong. “Recorded in Heaven, in 1991, according to the label.”
DJ Tjizza is back with 2 raw studio jams, based on a few samples floating on drumcomputer & bassline grooves. Coming straight out of the machines and ready to get that cool mood going in the club.
Fixed Rhythms is proud to welcome back to its roster one of their closest allies in sonic liberation, New York City’s Mali Mase, this time under his new techno alias MAL.E. Fixed Rhythms released Mali's "Travel International EP" under his beloved Sweater On Polo moniker. This go-around it's time to crank up the BPMs and stomp. This is serious techno but not for the serious techno chin-scratchers...calling all dance-floor freedom finders...hear the call and answer with your feet!Plot Synopsis:Chapter A1 "Spectacle of Automation"Society is no longer singular. Snap. Pop. Break. Bang. Am I machine? Or am I dancer?Chapter A2 "Passage 3"Finding the way to myself. The program hiccups, and I am conscious. I know more of what I am made of but less about why I am here. Chapter B1 "Routine Cycle"Again, I have been reborn. Chapter B2 "One Slip Away"The light at the end of the night...I walk back inside because my inner light is burning too bright...it may explode the Sun. Searching. Found. Something manufactured.Mastered by Dietrich Schoenemann. Design by Nick Owen. Distributed by One Eye Witness.
